## Description
The Made in Japan Godzilla Stratocaster® Blue is a special model born from the collaboration between the globally popular special effects monster movie series "Godzilla," which celebrates its 70th anniversary since its 1954 debut, and Fender's Stratocaster®, which also marks its 70th anniversary in 2024.

The design is inspired by the strength and allure of Godzilla, the "King of Monsters," featuring various elements that reflect this theme.

The guitar features an alder body with a myrtlewood top, dyed in a deep blue and finished with a gloss finish, embodying Godzilla's powerful presence. The neck is a "Modern C" shape, equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets, and prominently features the Godzilla logo near the 12th fret, providing a strong visual impact.

Sound quality has been meticulously focused on, with a built-in distortion circuit activated by pushing the Tone 2 knob. Additionally, this model includes a "G.L.O - Gain-Linked Optics" mechanism (patent pending), which alters the intensity of the light according to the distortion level. As a result, the Godzilla’s dorsal fin design on the pickguard lights up, increasing in brightness as the distortion increases, showcasing Godzilla just before unleashing its atomic breath through both sound and light.

Also, this model is equipped with custom-developed "Custom Godzilla Humbucking" pickups, achieving an overwhelming heavy sound. The hardware is uniformly black, and every detail has been carefully crafted to make this a unique instrument.

This special model comes with a unique neck plate that symbolizes the collaboration, a certificate of authenticity, and a dedicated hardshell case.

## Collector note
This 2024 Made-in-Japan Godzilla Stratocaster represents a rare convergence of two 70th-anniversary milestones—Toho's Godzilla franchise and Fender's iconic Strat—executed with genuine hardware innovation rather than cosmetic licensing. The patent-pending G.L.O. (Gain-Linked Optics) system that syncs pickguard lighting to distortion intensity is a functional collectible feature, not mere decoration, while the custom humbucking pickups and built-in distortion circuit elevate it beyond anniversary novelty tier. Japanese Fender production, rosewood fingerboard, and complete documentation (certificate, branded hardshell case, custom neck plate) signal serious craftsmanship; early domestic release from Fender's Japanese factory typically commands higher collector regard than later export variants. As a completely limited edition with no announced reissue cycle, secondary-market appreciation will depend on condition preservation and rarity validation.
