## Collector note
Final Fantasy XI's Vana'diel Communication Fact Book 2 is a specialized Japanese mook that captures mid-era FFXI lore and world-building—essential documentation for players invested in the game's distinctive setting and community. Enterbrain's mooks from this period are increasingly scarce in collector hands, particularly later volumes, as most copies circulated through rental shops or casual player hands with high attrition rates. The Vana'diel Communication line specifically targeted engaged Japanese players and rarely saw wide Western distribution, making domestic Japanese copies particularly valued by FFXI historians and mook collectors. Used condition is typical for this format; preservation quality directly impacts desirability among serious collectors seeking readable, intact examples.
