## Collector note
Animation cels from HUNTER×HUNTER's original TV run remain highly sought after by serious anime collectors, particularly character-focused pieces like Killua. The show's 1999–2001 series produced limited quantities of production cels that were never widely distributed outside Japan's domestic market, making authentic examples increasingly difficult to source. However, junk condition significantly impacts value—cels in this state typically show paint loss, creasing, adhesive damage, or acetate deterioration that collectors of vintage animation art view as material compromise rather than patina. Even damaged pieces retain niche appeal for budget-conscious enthusiasts or those seeking Killua specifically, but condition is the primary determinant of collector premium in the animation cel market.
