## Collector note
The A Series 1 Yen note featuring Sontoku Ninomiya represents a unique intersection of Japanese history and currency collectibles, dating back to its issuance in 1950. Sontoku Ninomiya is a noted historical figure, often associated with agricultural reform and social contributions, which adds to the cultural significance of this banknote. Given its age and the condition labeled as "As-is," collectors should pay close attention to wear and historical significance as these factors heavily influence market demand and valuation. While traditional currency collectors may find a place for this item, its rarity in well-preserved condition could appeal to those focused on historical Japanese artifacts as well.
