## Collector note
Original cels from Studio Ghibli's *Kiki's Delivery Service*, particularly from key sequences like the opening, hold a unique place in the collector's market due to their cultural significance and the film's enduring popularity since its 1989 release. This piece, featuring corrected cels, showcases the meticulous artistry that Ghibli is known for, drawing high interest from serious collectors and enthusiasts alike. Given the rarity of authentic production cels, especially those from early runs in Japan, this offering reflects traditional anime art’s value, which can appreciate notably over time—often commanding prices that mirror the nostalgia and affection for the film. Condition is paramount in this market, and proper storage and preservation practices are essential for maintaining the integrity of such vintage pieces.
