## Collector note
The Korokoro Comic March 2014 issue featuring the unopened Charizard EX card exemplifies a rare intersection of Pokémon nostalgia and limited print runs, making it highly sought after among collectors. Released during a period of significant popularity for the Pokémon franchise, this card's inclusion within the comic enhances its collectability, particularly as Charizard remains one of the franchise's most iconic and coveted characters. Produced in Japan, where preservation and quality of collectibles are held in high regard, this item’s condition—despite minor cover wear—still positions it as a valuable piece within the market, especially considering the rarity of unopened promotional cards in the same era. The current bid reflects the strong demand for this specific edition and highlights collectors’ willingness to invest in authentic, vintage Pokémon memorabilia.
