## Collector note
This large cel painting of Ram from 'Urusei Yatsura', a classic series first aired in the early 1980s, exemplifies the early anime art style that Rumiko Takahashi is renowned for. The cel's age and notable use in production inherently elevate its collectability, especially among fans of vintage anime collectibles. While the noted wear, such as tears and creases, may affect its condition, the rarity of hand-painted cels from this iconic series, particularly from an authentic Japanese source, tends to command high value in collector circles. The current bid of ¥400,000 reflects the strong demand for Urusei Yatsura memorabilia, supported by its cultural significance in the anime community.
