Remarks

## Collector note
The complete set of "Silent Service" by Kaiji Kawaguchi, published by Kodansha from 1989 to 1996, showcases a pivotal moment in Japanese manga history, as its blend of military themes and psychological drama captured broad attention during the 1990s. This series, originally serialized in "Morning KC," has garnered a dedicated following, making a complete set particularly sought after given the scarcity of intact collections. Kodansha's reputation for quality publications further enhances the desirability of this set, which is in good condition, reflecting careful preservation common among serious collectors. With the current bid reflecting a fair market value for a complete series in Japan, this auction represents a significant opportunity for enthusiasts of classic manga.
