## Description
This is an elusive Marusan tin Ultraman toy from the Showa era.
It is hardly found on the market, so it is not something that can be easily purchased with money.

The condition is quite good, I believe.

Although it does not move, the eyes and color timer light up.

Due to its good condition, it might be possible to repair it.

## Collector note
This rare Marusan Ultraman tin toy from the Showa era exemplifies the quintessential charm of early Japanese collectibles, capturing the nostalgia of a franchise that debuted in 1966 and became iconic in the Kaiju genre. With its exquisite detailing, this non-functional figure features illuminating eyes and a color timer, hallmarks of Marusan's craftsmanship during a time when quality and character fidelity were paramount. Such limited edition pieces are seldom found in excellent condition, making this offering particularly intriguing for collectors who appreciate the rarity and historical significance of Showa-era memorabilia. The current bidding reflects typical market interest in authentic, well-preserved toys sourced directly from Japan, further solidifying Ultraman's enduring legacy in the collector community.
