## Collector note
The Mega Gengar EX SAR card from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released as part of the MEGA Dream EX series in November 2025, captures significant collector interest due to Gengar's longstanding popularity in the franchise since its debut in the original games. As a Special Art Rare (SAR), this card is part of a limited production run, appealing to both competitive players and collectors keen on unique artworks. Given the historical demand for Pokémon cards from Japan, particularly in pristine condition, the current bid of ¥34,000 aligns well with market trends for similar high-rarity cards. Acquiring this card not only signifies a piece of the rich Pokémon legacy but also reflects the dedicated fandom surrounding this beloved character.
