## Collector note
This Meiji Year 11 One Yen silver coin features a striking dragon design that reflects Japan's rich history and artistry in currency. Released in 1878, during the pivotal Meiji period that modernized Japanese society, this coin appeals to both numismatists and collectors of Japanese heritage. While the condition is good for its age, with natural toning and minor scratches, the careful storage and collection history enhance its value. As genuine antique coins from this era become increasingly rare, this piece represents a unique opportunity for collectors focused on authentic Japanese currency.
