## Collector note
The Neo Geo console, released in 1990, is a cornerstone of retro gaming culture, celebrated for its iconic titles such as "Samurai Shodown" and "Fatal Fury." Collectors favor these units not only for their high-quality gameplay experience but also for their rarity; early production runs, particularly those made in Japan, often exhibit superior workmanship. Despite the minor crack on the joystick, this unit's fully operational condition and inclusion of original cables significantly enhance its collectible appeal, especially in a market where authentic vintage gaming hardware is increasingly sought after. At a current bid of ¥52,000, this console stands in line with typical Japan-market pricing for rare gaming items, reflecting both its heritage and lasting popularity among enthusiasts.
