## Description
Happy New Year!
This is being sold as an auspicious item suitable for ringing in the New Year.

This is a newly issued 10,000 yen banknote with the serial number '111111', which I happened to acquire.
It has been protected with laminating right after acquisition.

There are no folds, but there is very slight wear on the watermark area.
I kindly ask for your understanding that it is not in perfect condition when placing your bids.

Please take a look at the photos and only bid if you are satisfied with the condition.

It will be shipped via compact courier (with tracking and receipt confirmation), and I will bear the shipping costs.

The auction was relisted as I could not confirm payment after the January 1st listing, according to the regulations. The condition of the item is the same as before.
This time, it begins auspiciously at just 1 yen. Thank you!

## Collector note
This newly issued 10,000 yen banknote featuring the auspicious serial number '111111' is a noteworthy collectible within Japan's niche market for currency enthusiasts. Such limited edition notes often appreciate in value, particularly those associated with significant cultural or celebratory events like New Year. The collector demand can be high for items that offer unique serial patterns, especially when accompanied by protective lamination, as this minimizes potential degradation over time. Given Japan's meticulous standards for currency production, acquiring a well-preserved specimen like this one adds to its appeal among serious collectors.
