## Collector note
This New Year's postcard from Showa Year 32 (1957) features the distinctive artwork of Matsumoto Hohei, reflecting the kawaii aesthetic prevalent in post-war Japan. Collectors of vintage Japanese postcards often seek items like this for their historical significance and visual appeal, with Hohei's unique style adding further value. Given its limited run and pristine condition, this piece stands out in a market where authentic, well-preserved examples are increasingly rare.
