The Meisterstück, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, represents Montblanc's fountain pens and could be considered an icon. It was first created in 1924, marking its 101st year this year. This Beethoven (#146) is renowned for its excellent writing comfort and balance between heft and practicality, surpassing other models. Additionally, it has been overhauled at Montblanc's Technical Service in January 2012, ensuring it is in good working condition. The bespoke nib is handcrafted from pure gold by skilled artisans in Hamburg's Montblanc nib manufacturing plant. During this era, the manufacturing process was not as mechanized, allowing for a unique character to be imbued into the finished product by hand. Please check the images for further details. If you have questions about the images or description, feel free to ask before bidding. 【Specifications】 ◇ Name: Montblanc Meisterstück Beethoven ◇ Condition: Tested writing of 3 characters / almost unused ◆ Original Japanese distributor: Daiya Sangyo Co., Ltd. ◆ Purchase location: Itoya in Ginza ◆ Year of purchase: Fall 1985 ◆ Colors: Black / Gold / White ◆ Materials: Body = Resin / Nib = K14 (14K Gold) ◆ Size: Length approximately 146 mm × Diameter approximately 13 mm ◆ Total weight: Approximately 26 g ◆ Ink filling: Piston converter type ◆ Included items: Instruction manual / Overhaul delivery note / Original bottle ink ※ The contents of the instruction manual seem mismatched ◆ Remarks: The Meisterstück #146 has a relatively soft writing feel that even ballpoint pen users can comfortably adapt to.
