## Collector note
Toko Okamoto is celebrated for her ethereal and transparent artistry, which is exemplified in this original work "Rain Moon." As a graduate of Tokyo University of Arts and an award-winning artist, Okamoto's limited edition pieces have become sought after in contemporary Japanese art circles, reflecting a growing demand for unique hand-painted techniques over printed reproductions. This framed painting's good condition, despite minor gaps in the frame, enhances its collectibility, particularly given that original works by Okamoto are rare and often appreciated for their investment potential within the Japanese art market. Authenticity is paramount in this sector, with pieces from Japan frequently achieving higher valuations due to better preservation and provenance.
