## Description
This is the renowned Ovation Super Adamas I, the pinnacle model of Ovation guitars, beloved by artists and musicians worldwide. The serial number indicates that this model was made in the USA in 1993, during the height of its production.\n\nThe groundbreaking five-bronic soundboard (top) balances thickness with strength, and the double epaulet design features walnut, padauk, and teak, with a beautiful Adamas Blue color.\n\nWith a non-cutaway body and a deep bowl by Lyrachord, the neck, fingerboard, and bridge are all made of walnut, while the top is crafted from graphite. The top and back are adorned with stunning gold glitter (hard to capture in photos), and both the headstock and bridge are intricately carved, showcasing the artistic effort worthy of this leading model.\n\nThe unique decoration, unlike any typical guitar, is sure to stand out on stage. It provides a fresh surprise for young audiences and evokes nostalgia for older ones.\n\nWith minimal bracing, it maximizes vibration transmission for quick note response; the mid-range is robust and full-bodied while the highs are balanced and clear. Among all the guitars I have owned, this one produces the best sound, likely due to its materials, specifications, and deep bowl design.\n\nThere are no floating or chipped epaulets or bridge, and it has no scratches or dents whatsoever (the blemish visible in the headstock photo is part of the carving on either side). The pickups are fully functional. This guitar has been stored without use, and obviously, it has not been played with a pick. It is in mint condition, nearly unused.\n\nI am putting it up for auction to organize my equipment. I hope to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.\n\nTOP: Carbon Graphite\nSIDE & BACK: Lyrachord (Deep Bowl)\nNECK: Walnut\nFINGERBOARD: Walnut\nBRIDGE: Walnut\nTUNER: Schaller Gold\nPU: OP-24 (3EQ & 1 Volume)

## Collector note
The Ovation Super Adamas I represents the brand's flagship acoustic-electric design from the early 1990s—a period when Ovation commanded significant collector interest for its distinctive deep bowl construction and materials innovation (graphite top, Lyrachord back/sides). USA-made 1993 models in mint condition are increasingly sought after as vintage Ovations appreciate; the Adamas Blue finish with glitter inlay and gold hardware variants command premiums among players and collectors valuing both tonal characteristics and aesthetic presentation. This particular example's unused status and original Schaller tuning hardware preserve investment potential, though the market for vintage Ovations remains specialized and requires knowledgeable buyers who understand the instrument's engineering legacy.
