## Collector note
The PS5 30th Anniversary Digital Edition represents a rare convergence of Sony's console collectibility and nostalgia marketing, released in limited quantities primarily in Japan and select markets. The unopened condition and inclusion of original receipt are critical for preservation-focused collectors, as opening significantly diminishes both display appeal and potential future value—this model's scarcity stems from production constraints rather than aggressive reissue cycles typical of earlier PlayStation hardware. The CFI-2000B30 variant carries particular weight among Japanese domestic collectors, where early domestic-market sealed units command premiums due to perceived superior QC and packaging authenticity versus late-stage redistribution channels. Console collectibility hinges entirely on sealed condition; any breach—even minor—creates a categorical value cliff.
