Brand: Pokémon Card Game
Release Date: 2009/10/09

## Collector note
The 2009 release of the Ho-Oh LEGEND and Lugia LEGEND cards from the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s LEGEND expansion remains a significant milestone for collectors, celebrated for its nostalgic ties to the Soul Silver game and anime continuity. As first edition prints, these cards offer a rare glimpse into an era where Pokémon collectibles began to see substantial demand driven by both the growing franchise popularity and competitive play. Their excellent condition (PSA 9-10 equivalent) further enhances their desirability, particularly within the Japanese market, where properly maintained cards from early runs tend to appreciate dramatically. With both characters being fan favorites, the scarcity of this out-of-print set positions them as highly sought-after treasures within the collector community.
