## Collector note
The Mega Gengar EX SAR from the Pokémon Trading Card Game is a significant collectible from the celebrated franchise that continues to captivate fans since its television debut in 1997. Released as part of the Mega Dream EX series in late 2025, this Special Art Rare card reflects high-quality manufacturing typically associated with the Pokémon TCG, which excels in producing visually striking and collectible cards. Given its pristine condition and the rarity of the SAR designation, this card is poised to attract both seasoned collectors and newcomers alike, particularly considering domestic Japanese cards are renowned for their better preservation and authenticity. The current bid of ¥31,000 underscores the increasing demand for well-maintained, limited edition cards within the vibrant Japanese collector market.
