## Collector note
Released on November 28, 2025, as part of the Mega Dream EX set, the Mega Gengar ex SAR card is a standout within the Pokémon trading card game, particularly appealing to collectors who appreciate both its artwork and competitive potential. Given Gengar's enduring popularity as a fan-favorite from the original series, demand for this limited edition card remains robust among serious collectors. The card's near mint condition, combined with its strong potential for a high PSA grade, indicates its desirability in the Japanese market, where pristine examples command premium prices. With well-maintained cards like this often seen as investments rather than mere collectibles, the careful storage and handling history further enhance its allure.
