## Collector note
The Shiny Magikarp card from the Pokémon Fan Club represents a rare piece of collectible history, primarily due to its unique relief processing and limited distribution, distinguishing it from the more ubiquitous Shiny Magikarp found in other sets. Released during the height of Pokémon's popularity, this card appeals significantly to collectors, especially those focused on high-value promo cards from the franchise’s early days. Its condition is paramount; excellent preservation enhances its desirability, particularly in a market accustomed to condition-sensitive pricing. Given the rarity of such promo cards in Japan, this listing offers a coveted opportunity for serious collectors to acquire an authentic piece reflective of the Pokémon legacy.
