## Collector note
Pop Mart's Labubu Exciting Macaron series represents a key moment in the designer toy market's crossover with collectible blind-box culture—the Sesame Bean variant is particularly sought after among Japanese market collectors due to its limited colorway within the series' random distribution model. This open-box example preserves the sealed inner bag while eliminating the gamble of blind purchasing, a common strategy among Japanese auction buyers who value variant confirmation without sacrificing mint condition. Labubu's 2020s Pop Mart run experienced strong domestic Japanese interest, with regional colorways like this one commanding premiums over standard issues in secondary markets. The vinyl-faced plush keychain format became iconic for Pop Mart's accessibility tier, making condition and original packaging integrity substantial factors in collector valuation.
