## Collector note
This original animation cell of Fio from Hayao Miyazaki's 'Porco Rosso' is a significant piece for both Studio Ghibli enthusiasts and animation art collectors; it showcases the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Miyazaki's works. Released in 1992, 'Porco Rosso' is celebrated for its unique blend of adventure and whimsical storytelling, and items from this franchise command high collector interest, particularly those that capture key characters. The cell's current auction price of ¥450,000 reflects the strong demand for such vintage artworks in Japan, where authentic, early-run pieces are highly sought after. Despite the noted glare spots from the camera, the overall condition further underscores its desirability among dedicated collectors who value the original art form.
