## Collector note
This original production cel from *Dragon Ball Z* represents a significant connection to one of anime's most iconic series, which first aired in Japan in 1989 and has maintained enduring popularity among collectors. The market for *Dragon Ball Z* art, especially from early episodes, has consistently seen high demand, thanks in part to nostalgia and the show's cultural impact. This cel, being in excellent condition, is likely to attract serious collectors who value the authenticity and historical significance of original animation art—something that is often rare, given the production methods and handling. With a competitive bidding starting at ¥200,000, this item reflects the typical Japan-market pricing for high-quality production cels, further emphasizing its desirability and the importance of acquiring such pieces domestically.
