## Collector note
This PSA10 graded Pikachu from the Pokékyun Collection, released in 2016 as part of the XY series, reflects the enduring popularity of this iconic character within the Pokémon franchise. As a 1st edition winning prize card, its rarity is amplified by the limited production associated with promotional events in Japan, which consistently draws collectors eager for high-quality, gem mint specimens. The careful storage and encapsulation enhance its appeal, as these factors are crucial in maintaining condition and ensuring long-term value in the collector market. Given the current bid of ¥580,000, this card is positioned at the higher end of the Japanese market, indicative of the robust demand for pristine, early-run Pokémon collectibles.
