## Description
The piece was owned by my grandfather (a contemporary of Emperor Showa), who had it reframed after the old frame was damaged, with a custom frame costing 180,000 yen, reinforced with L-shaped metal rods and UV-cut acrylic. This is a colotype of 'Nightsleepr', representing Andrew Wyeth, a leading figure in 20th-century realism. The colotype method is intricate and currently not used due to cost.

This artwork is currently sold out for 2.1 million yen in foreign galleries. It is large in size, suitable for display by people of all ages for a long time. It was produced in a limited run of 300 pieces, with the artist's hand signature and edition number added during his lifetime. Many photos are included for your consideration.

The title 'Nightsleepr' translates to 'Sleeping Car,' where a dog is sleeping with its head resting on a pillow, depicted as if looking through a large window of a sleeper car. Through the window, you can see a flour mill, a river, and vast land typical of Northeast America at the time. It is a rare piece that doesn't come up often. Andrew Wyeth (July 12, 1917 - January 6, 2009) was a prominent American realist painter, capturing the people and landscapes of rural Eastern America before and after the war with rich visual poetry using pencil, watercolor, tempera, and dry brush. Known for his calm color palette and meticulous layering technique, he depicted the scenes of his homeland and summer retreat in northern Maine throughout his life, occupying a significant place in the lineage of realistic expression in 20th-century art. He was one of America’s great masters, passing away in 2009.
