## Description
This is an unopened PS version of 'Serial Experiments Lain'.

The set includes the disc, case, manual, and obi, all in excellent condition.
The game has only been played once upon its release, so there are no scratches on the disc or any other kind of wear.

I have cherished this item as part of my collection but have decided to sell it due to difficult life circumstances.

Thank you for your understanding.

## Collector note
Serial Experiments Lain for PS1 represents a pivotal moment in anime game adaptation—a faithful visual novel that captured the philosophical depth and aesthetic of Yoshitoh Yoshinari's landmark 1998 series. The PS version is particularly sought after among Japanese collectors as an early domestic release with intact packaging (disc, case, manual, obi), where condition directly impacts value given the fragility of original jewel cases and obi strips. Mint examples with minimal play-through are increasingly scarce as the late-90s print run degrades; this item's single-play history and pristine disc are notable, as laser rot and case yellowing are common degradation vectors for this era.
