## Collector note
This mixed-era Showa lot spans numerically significant years (Showa 16–34, equivalent to 1941–1959) and includes key Phoenix and Rice Ear design coins prized by Japanese numismatists for their post-war iconography and production scarcity. The Phoenix series (Showa 32–33) and Rice Ear coins (Showa 34) represent the final circulating denominations before decimal currency stabilization, making complete year sets valuable for collectors building comprehensive Showa collections. Circulated condition is typical and expected for home-stored lots; the denominations span 10 sen through 1 yen, offering useful gap-fillers for numismatic sets, though wear and patina should be verified against photos before commitment.
