## Collector note
This Porco Rosso cel animation frame represents a distinctive piece of Studio Ghibli history from the beloved 1992 film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Given the film's enduring popularity and the high esteem in which Studio Ghibli is held among collectors, pieces like this are increasingly sought after, particularly due to the studio's limited production runs and the unique nature of traditional cel animation. While this item shows signs of age, its provenance from Mandarake ensures authenticity, a key factor in its collectibility. Current bidding reflects the premium placed on early-run Japanese animation art, particularly pieces that capture iconic characters and moments from the Ghibli catalog.
