## Collector note
This 40cm sofubi collaborative piece between Toyo Ishida and Dehara Yukinori represents a rare crossover in the contemporary Japanese art toy space, where fine art sculptors work directly with traditional soft vinyl casting. Sofubi figures at this scale from independent or semi-independent creators typically see extremely limited production runs—often under 100 units—making domestic Japanese examples particularly sought after before international distribution. The Yuya Jitsu label suggests a niche, artist-driven line rather than mass-manufacture, which historically tracks toward stronger collector retention and secondary market appreciation. Condition and original packaging significantly impact value in this category, as these pieces are often display pieces for serious collectors rather than played-with toys.
