## Collector note
The Robores series, a unique entry in the late 90s and early 2000s arcade landscape, exemplified innovative gameplay and distinctive character design, appealing to a nostalgic collector base. This used arcade board from 2001, while lacking original packaging and accessories, remains a sought-after piece due to its rarity and Japan provenance, as domestic versions typically experience better preservation. The current bid of ¥57,182 reflects a moderate market price for a collectible that caters to enthusiasts of vintage arcade gaming, and it’s noteworthy that successful collectors often seek out complete setups with manuals and harnesses for optimal display. Manufacturers involved in retro gaming, like SEGA, foster a dedicated collector culture around such items, establishing a lasting legacy among Japanese arcade games.
