## Collector note
Garage kits—particularly large-scale resin casts from Wonder Festival—represent the pinnacle of fan-driven collectible culture in Japan, and Boume's work is highly regarded for anatomical precision and sculpt quality. This 1/4 scale Sailor Mars kit is significant because pre-assembled garage kits from the 1990s–2000s rarely surface in used condition; most either remain built by original buyers or are lost to time, making surviving unbuilt or partially-assembled examples valuable to serious kit collectors. The 46cm height and 12-part construction indicate a complex, advanced-level kit; condition variables (resin yellowing, mold flash, air bubbles) are inherent to the garage kit medium and directly affect perceived value and assembly difficulty. Japan-domestic Wonder Festival exclusives rarely enter secondary markets outside local auctions, enhancing rarity for overseas collectors.
