## Description
NEVE 33135A BBC STUDIO model
Set of two units with serial numbers 20356 and 20383
is available for sale.

Originally custom-made by NEVE for the BBC studio, these units are extremely rare.
This represents one of the last generations of vintage NEVE equipment.
Purchased directly from a mechanic affiliated with the BBC studio.

The 33135 model comes in various versions, but this is a BBC studio custom order, specifically the 33135A.
Its sound quality is superior to that of the standard 33135.

The circuit design is based on the NEVE 1081 Class A/B, suggesting that its sound quality is likely similar to the NEVE 1081.
Comparatively, the low mids are the same, while the highs offer a slightly wider range.

Through discussions on overseas enthusiast forums, it has been noted that in blind tests of the 1081 and 33135A, 3 out of 5 participants chose the 33135A.

I believe the EQ section is among the best in NEVE's offerings.

The handmade power supply as shown in the images is included.
I believe it will also be easy to rack mount.
Power and sound output have been verified.

As a vintage item, please be aware that maintenance is a prerequisite for use, adhering to the 3N standard.

The listed price includes Yahoo auction fees.
If negotiated before bidding, it can be discounted by 10%, bringing the price to 750,000 yen.
Compared to the market, I believe this is a bargain.

## Collector note
The NEVE 33135A, custom-made for the BBC studio, represents a pinnacle of vintage audio engineering, closely linked to NEVE's renowned 1081 model. With only a limited number produced, this specific iteration is highly sought after for its superior sound quality, making it a notable find among collectors of professional audio equipment. Given its rarity in Japan and provenance from an official BBC mechanic, this unit’s authenticity and condition are critical factors influencing demand and value within the niche market of vintage pro audio gear. Priced at ¥830,000, this offering reflects its esteemed status while being competitive for a piece of this quality in the collector's landscape.
