## Collector note
The Virtual Boy remains one of Nintendo's most polarizing hardware experiments, and complete domestic units with original packaging command steady collector interest due to the system's notoriously high failure rates and screen degradation over time. This lot's inclusion of seven first-generation titles—particularly Wario Land and Mario Clash—represents a meaningful sampling of the console's strongest software library, though the noted horizontal screen lines and controller cable hydrolysis are typical wear patterns that affect long-term playability and preservation value. Domestic Japanese boxes and manuals add provenance weight in the collector market, but condition-conscious buyers should weigh the cosmetic aging (yellowing, mold marks) against the functional verification and included replacement eyeshade as mitigation factors.
