## Collector note
Zippo lighters, particularly themed or limited-edition brass variants like this 'Seven Stars' model, appeal to lighter enthusiasts who value the brand's consistent build quality and collectible potential across production runs. Brass Zippos develop distinctive patina over time, making condition-as-new examples desirable for collectors prioritizing original finish; however, the seller's note about production-period variations in markings suggests this may be from a standard production batch rather than a truly limited run, which affects rarity perception. Zippo's domestic Japanese market releases sometimes carry different finishes or stamping than export versions, making provenance and original packaging relevant to serious collectors. The lighter's value is anchored primarily to material weight, design appeal, and condition rather than scarcity metrics typical of toy or figurine collectibles.
